Why on-line self-care? 

This is a great alternative to hands on massage treatments, successfully enabling you to release painful or tense areas of your body. A combination of self-massage, stretches and relaxation techniques that feel surprisingly good and are really effective in managing pain and stress.

As with a massage appointment the first session includes a full consultation so I’m able to offer the best possible outcomes for you. You will be supported with ideas that can fit realistically into your day, with the additional benefit of recordings of the session being sent to you if you wished.

This is an option that gives you the ability to give yourself an effective massage from the comfort of your own home and can help if you have chronic long term pain or recently noticed areas of tension, if its de-stressing you need, I can offer a guided self-massage and relaxation. Once hands on treatments are allowed you will have useful tools to help between sessions or when it’s not possible to visit.

Top tips include applying heat for 10 minutes before you start or have a warm bath or shower if possible. Ease into the pressure, allowing your body to soften and melt under your hands. There really is no gain to be had by pain! Stretching slowly and only as far as comfortable on your out breath and if you can hold for 30 seconds it will really give your body a chance to release. Other suggestions include keeping a pain diary noting when and where the pain is, what makes it worse and what relieves it, I can email a template for this if that's helpful.

I’ll let you know advance all the information needed and you don’t need any special oils, plant based ones from your cupboard will be fine. Sessions are 30 mins and until the end of July the first one is free.
