About Me
I’m Jane (she / her) and I’ve been working as a massage therapist since 2003 gaining a wealth of experience during this time. I’m passionate about the healing benefits of massage and I’m continually developing new skills. I work as part of an integrated health service along side GPs and other Complementary Health practitioners at WellBN (BHWC).
My training has been diverse, Jing Institute here in Brighton have been a source of inspiration, qualifications I’ve studied with them include Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist, Myofascial release, pregnancy massage and many other short courses. Combining my love of travel with study I’ve had the opportunity to study in Thailand, India and Europe including with several different teachers of the Sunshine network including Asokananda. I’ve assisted teaching on Thai massage courses in both Thailand and the U.K.including with Metta college. You can find out more about my qualifications here.
Enjoying a versatile working practice I’ve massaged at festivals, retreats both in the U.K. and abroad, corporate events and health days, I’ve also been able to mix with my enjoyment of yoga with work during Yoga holidays.
Volunteering experience has included massaging at centre providing complimentary therapies and support for people living with cancer. Previous work has included being involved in giving massage as part of research project for children with Cystic fibrosis at the Royal Alexandra Children’s hospital in Brighton. I also have experience massaging adults and children with learning disabilities and people recovering from substance abuse addictions.
I aim to make my massage practice a welcoming, safe and inclusive space for you, ensuring you feel comfortable whilst receiving treatments.
Outside of work as well as Astanga yoga I love cycling, trying to grow things at my allotment and attempting to cook healthy food. This winter I’ve been a new convert to Sea dipping. I also co-ordinate an allotment that’s used as a therapeutic space for a local charity.

“I have been seeing Jane around once a month for many years now. She has taken great care of my back, neck and shoulders, always listening carefully to me and my body. I can always trust Jane to look after me and my body feels so much better for it. Jane will also advise on exercises to do at home to help with whatever problem I’m suffering from at the time. I have recommended her to my husband, my mum and friends – everyone who has been to see her has felt the benefits. Thank you so much, Jane!”

“Sessions with Jane are just pure heaven”
Retreat centre guest
“Such a heavenly massage! Calming, soothing and at the same time energising. In my Thai Yoga Massage session Jane had created a decorative and beautiful ambience with scents to transform the room to a relaxing haven. Jane’s expertise touch was sensational and she had a natural intuition and sensitivity to my needs. I loved every second of the refreshing 1.5 hour treatment. I really enjoyed the variation of stretches in which some were playful and opening whereas others I drifted off to sleep. It was bliss. Can’t wait for the next one!”
